Just a few weeks ago, Gintama released some teaser pics for its fans and everyone was glad about it. The teaser pics show the Yorozuya cast in their costumes and we can’t argue that it suits them well, especially the main character, Sakata Gintoki, to be portrayed by the one and only, Shun Oguri.

While we can’t wait for the production team to show the other characters in their costumes as well, the committee released a teaser video of the upcoming Gintama Live-Action Movie.

You can watch the trailer below.

Gintama Live-Action - Movie Teaser - The movie is due in July 2017!

As many have speculated until now, it seems the live action was adapted from Gintama’s first movie, Benizakura Arc. In the Benizakura Arc, the sudden disappearance of their friend Katsura Koutarou, shrouded the gang, and was hired to search for the stolen, cursed sword, the Benizakura. Little did they know that the vanishing of Katsura and the stolen sword was connected to Gintoki’s painful past.

Overwhelmed, I can’t wait to see the live adaptation of my favorite scene from the animated one. Given the reputation these actors and actresses have, I’m sure that they will be able to deliver the action, humor, and emotion emotions Gintama had brought us these past few years.

If you’re with me, let’s hit the cinemas this July 2017!
