The Japanese anime series created by SUNRISE is coming back for its 3rd Season!

At the Code Geass 10th Anniversary event (November 27, 2016), it was announced that the series will be having a new anime entitled CODE GEASS: LELOUCH OF THE RESURRECTION. A compilation film trilogy will also be released and will recap the events from all 50 episodes of Seasons 1 and 2 of the anime series. Director Goro Taniguchi also confirmed that the main protagonist Lelouch Lamperouge / Lelouch vi Britannia who supposedly died in Season 2, will be back for Season 3. He said that the real Lelouch will be seen and not as a clone or in an alternate setting. The story will take place few years after the events of Zero Requiem.
